Sarah-Jayne, our First Mate and Host, grew up in Wales and moved to New York City at 18 to attend acting school. Since then, she has been exploring her passions for storytelling, psychology, philosophy, creative arts and travel. Sarah fell in love with sailing while crossing the Biscay Bay with Patrik, and since then has found that sailing brings her incredible joy.
Curiosity leads the way in her endeavours as an Integral Coach, Blue Health Coach, Awakening Yoga Teacher 200HR, Songwriter and Digital Content Creator. Sarah-Jayne is passionate about helping you discover the freedom to be the captain of your own ship and sail towards your dream reality.
Patrik is a highly qualified RYA Yachtmaster Instructor with over 35,000 nautical miles under his belt as an instructor and skipper. He holds a Commercially Endorsed MCA/RYA Yachtmaster Offshore and Master 200gt certification, Yachtmaster Ocean theory exams, and an MSc. in Air Transportation Engineering.
Originally from land-locked Czech Republic, Patrik left a career in engineering to pursue sailing and has since spent most of his time on water, and teaching others to do the same. His passion for adventure and wealth of experience ensure that you'll be in expert hands when joining us on one of our sailing adventures.
As a professional RYA instructor, Patrik is always happy to share his knowledge and experience with those who have a deeper interest in sailing. Check out his sail training project - the Yacht Master Class.
In 2024, Patrik was honored to be appointed as an RYA Yachtmaster Cruising Instructor Trainer, a distinction held by fewer than 50 instructors worldwide.
