COVID-19 - CANCELLATIONS AND PROTOCOL
At Wander the Waves, we understand that clients may be nervous about travelling during the continued pandemic, which is why we have implemented strict protocols to ensure the safety of everyone onboard.
• All clients are required to comply with local COVID regulations.
• Masks will not be required onboard as it is a tight-knit space and social distancing is not possible.
• In the event that a client needs to cancel due to a positive COVID-19 test, we will do our best to find a last-minute replacement. However, we regret to inform you that we will not be able to offer a refund. We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance that covers you for COVID-19 related cancellations.
• If the skipper tests positive for COVID-19, the trip will need to be postponed unless we are able to find a suitable replacement in a short space of time. In this case, we will rebook your trip for another date that is convenient for you and your party. Please note that Wander the Waves is not liable for any pre-booked transport costs, and you will need to handle these through your travel insurer.
• In the event of destination border closures, total cancellation of flights, or restrictions to sailing navigation due to COVID-19, the charter company will work with you to rebook the trip to another suitable date.
Clients should note that they will be required to comply with these protocols during their trip. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping everyone safe and healthy.
